Treating lakes & ponds chemically just got
a whole lot simpler, safer and more affordable.
Issues for lake & pond water are lot more complex than treating pool & spa water. Lakes & ponds are giant aquariums full of water, nature and problems to solve.
When you study chemistry for lakes & ponds, you find that each problem area requires a specific, toxic chemical. For example, algae requires an algaecide. Insects require an insecticide. Metals require a metal remover chemical. Invasive species requires a special chemical for each species, in some cases. The list goes on.
MINLOX™ has an All-In-One approach that reduces chemical usage and costs significantly. Plus...it's earth-friendly. The comparison below will explain the huge difference that MINLOX makes when treating lakes & ponds:
TOTAL CHEMICAL COSTS
$50 - $35 per gallon of MINLOX concentrate
$3 - $1 per gallon of MINLOX dilution*
*Adding one cup of MINLOX concentrate to one gallon of water makes a dilution that is similar to liquid chlorine (strength-wise). Dilutions are made in the field by lake & pond workers.
TOTAL CHEMICAL COSTS
$1,000+ and over a dozen chemicals needing storage space.
MINLOX is very effective against Golden & Blue-Green Algae
MINLOX oxidizes the biofilm of invasive mussels for successful treatment.
Fish thrive due to enhanced oxygen by MINLOX
MINLOX works as an insecticide & pesticide
Biofilm is oxidized by MINLOX for entire piping system
Foul odors are removed with MINLOX
For a severe issue, pour the concentrate in to "shock" it. Measure water with ORP to achieve desired range.
For maintenance treatment, simply dilute the concentrate by adding one cup of concentrate to one gallon of clear water.
For a repeated release of MINLOX™ into a contaminated area, timers can be used. This keeps a constant treatment in place and issues "at bay."
To achieve a topical application with any type of sprayer, dilute the concentrate to desired ORP value. This is effective on toxic algae and mosquito colonies.
Putting the concentrate in a compostable bag is an effective to treat issues such as zebra/quagga mussels.
